No matter how are you mold yourself into an ideal person of function in society, there is always the secret dark mushy innard that holds the real you. The shell you wear is heavy, and the colors you painted it are fading. Things age, you age. The shell needs to come off sometime, on those days you need a break you take it off and lay it against the wall just in sight so you know that you're one step away from putting it back on at the slightest feeling of vulnerability. The shell is harder on certain days, it just depends on the mood and the environment. Like an adapting entity. You know that it weakens, and eventually you'll stop caring that it breaks off and people see you. You will die alone and miserable they say, unless you change. Sorry.. I can't fit into any other shell. 
Some of us aren't wired to get better, we are only wired to die slower.
