Opal

"OPAL"

Opal has a diamond-opal on her forehead, unlike a horn, it holds no true magic.
However, it can glow at her will. That is essentially its only function, other than looking fabulous.
Opal is a pegasus pony, her mane and tail are a gentle pastel pink while her coat is a hue of different strengths of teal and turquoise. Her coat, mane and tail release soft white fibers that reflect light, similar to what is seen inside the opal stone.

Opal is the birthstone for the month of October, along with pink tourmaline.. The name Opal is thought to be derived from the Sanskrit upala, meaning “precious stone,” and later the Greek derivative “Opallios,” meaning “to see a change of color" (JPM, 2017).
